CFB Week 5 Free Plays

by Alex Garren

Welcome back to everyone following the best 24 year old sports gamblers out there. Through 4 weeks, I’m personally shooting at a 57.69 % clip in CFB. However, a rough week 2 really set me back overall. Week 2 meltdown and close calls accounts for over 50% of my losses this season. I own that and wear it on my sleeve. I still wake up and fight the good fight against all Bookies around the world. Not only for myself, but for all you looking to make some money while watching your favorite team battle it out.  If you want positive returns on your sports investment… Look no further than the Daily Hedge. College Football has been quite the roller coaster this year. Some teams have risen their dying programs from the ashes like Kansas, Syracuse, and Duke. The giants of College Football Georgia, Michigan, Ohio St, and Alabama have not seemed to miss many steps in the first 4 weeks. However, the most intriguing story lines this year might be the David’s that are looking to take down the Goliath of College Football. On paper, there are a lot of remaining dogs in this fight to take down one of these Goliath. My list narrows down to three based on the opportunities ahead of them. I believe based on their remaining schedule USC, Tennessee, and Ole Miss all have opportunities to shake the College Football world upside down. Here are some of the early most liked plays from the public on BetMGM.

 9.30.22 Pick

Washington -2.5 and O 65.5

  • M. Penix Jr is having a top 5 QB season this year in my opinion. If this bet doesn’t work it is a RAT LINE. Over for some fun on a Friday night with good match up to win as well.

10.1.22 Picks

Ole Miss vs Kentucky O 54

  • Ole miss is favored by 6.5, this is a sign to me for the Over. Kentucky defense has shown promise, but hasn’t schemed against an offensive mind like Kiffin.

Purdue vs Minnesota O 52 & Purdue +12.5

  • Purdue had a poor showing last week vs FAU. Classic look past game. They know Minnesota is the real deal and have been prepping for it since before the FAU game.

Bama vs Arkansas O 61

  • Alabama is a solid team and puts up points. However, I never seem to win when I take Bama’s spread. I’ll take the points with home field advantage for the Hogs.

Texas A&M vs Mississippi St O 46 and Miss St -4

  • I believe Texas A&M is the more complete team. However, Will Rogers is the better QB. I’ll take the over in this game and -4. Last year contest ended 26-22 Miss St. I expect a similar game. Also first game I haven’t taken A&M, including the horrible loss Week 2.

Georgia vs Missouri and Georgia -28

  • Simple play. Missouri stinks and I fully expect Georgia to put up points on the road.

USC vs Arizona St O 60.5

  • I think USC will put up plenty of points, but the trick to this is Arizona St offense putting up 17 or more points for this Over to hit.

These plays are only 1/4 of my picks Saturday, I will continue each week to discuss and give out free picks. I will be releasing at least 3 more picks on Twitter.
